My Greatest Manifestation Story

If anything were possible, what would you do?

If there were no limitations in place to stop you and anything was possible, what would you really want to do?

The moment I heard this question at an exclusive, small-group seminar hosted by Ken Honda in September 2017, my mind was completely stunned.

If I could do literally anything? I’d never even thought about it before.

Back then, I was extremely busy every single day, up to full capacity just dealing with the most urgent task that moment had to offer. I never stopped to imagine what I could do if nothing like that was stopping me. Going to Ken’s seminar and meeting the other participants there were so refreshingly stimulating to me that I was finally able to extract myself from the deep patterns of my usual hectic work life.

After thinking for a long while and not coming up with any satisfying answer, I decided to stop trying to find the answer with my mind. Instead, I began to simply close my eyes and observe what images I felt in my heart.

I saw myself interviewing someone on a brightly lit stage, inside what looked like a television screen. It was clearly a TV show, and I was the host.

I’d never imagined such a scene before, and I had no idea where that idea came from. At the time, I even brushed it off thinking that I must have been daydreaming. I didn’t think too deeply about it and after some time passed, it slipped out of my mind completely.

However, as I continued to participate in other seminars, that image resurfaced from the depths of my heart every time I stopped to imagine what my best possible future looked like.

Eventually, I began to try and put it into words: I had a dream to become the Japanese version of Oprah Winfrey.

From that moment on, I began to nurture my interest in being an interviewer. Even if I couldn’t appear on any TV show immediately, I knew there must be somewhere I could begin. In the days before Zoom even had a spotlight feature, I experimented with ways to interview someone online and showcase both screens side by side. I learned how to share screens and broadcast interviews on platforms like Facebook.

I started my own interview program where I talked with interesting people and ask the perfect question to draw out meaningful stories that anyone listening would find touching and worthwhile.

By 2020, Ken Honda had launched an online community, and I started sharing monthly interviews within part of that program built for people to share their gifts and lifework with the world.

I had already left my company job by that time and was working full time as a life coach. Unlike one-on-one sessions with clients, conducting interviews in a public setting was incredibly exciting and inspirational. I discovered a joy for drawing out people’s true feelings in real time. Those moments when both the guest speaker and the audience suddenly experienced new understandings and realizations were always so moving and joyful for me.

A brand-new stage of life suddenly appeared

Around the end of January 2021, an audio-based social media platform called Clubhouse reached Japan and quickly gained popularity for people who enjoyed creating and listening to live, collaborative programs like a radio show.

Looking back, I believe this was also a major manifestation win for me.

At the time, no one could really imagine what kind of platform Clubhouse would eventually become.

One day, I got a notification that the Japanese author Toshitaka Mochizuki was live on Clubhouse, so I joined in to say hello. He is well known for his teachings on Reiki and manifestation, especially through the act of creating personal vision boards.

After the talk, he reached out to me and said, “I’m going to host a Clubhouse room tomorrow too. If you’re available, would you like to help me?”

That was the origin of a very successful and long-running series we called “Morning Manifestation.” The first conversation aired on February 4, 2021 at 7:00am.

From day one, so many people were already there in the live audience listening in. Countless participants shared with the whole group about the goals and dreams they most wanted to manifest within the next 72 hours. Even though that very first call started at 7:00am, the session didn’t end until 10:00pm that night!

After that, it became a hugely popular program with hundreds of people joining every morning.

The current version, “Morning Manifestation: Spread the Flow of Gratitude and Good Luck” was relaunched on June 4, 2021. The story behind this was that the original Morning Manifestation was scheduled to end permanently on June 3.

After participating every single day for several months, it was all going to be over. When the news reached me, I felt both relief and a pang of regret. My heart was clearly feeling, “I wish I had built my own program…”

I wondered if I should continue the program myself. At the same time, I worried that if I took over as host by myself that no one would show up. What if I ruined everything we worked hard to build up to that point?

As my thoughts spiraled back and forth, I struggled to come to a conclusion and prayed for a sign. That evening, I received a message: “Shoko, would you be interested in continuing the Morning Manifestation program, even if the format changes or we do it less frequently?”

She added, “I think you should be the main host, Shoko! I just want to be your support, keeping the energy up in the background.”

That made me smile. I got an answer and knew exactly what I was being led to do.

The future becomes exactly what you envision

That’s the story of how I became the host for an interview program. A “New” Morning Manifestation program began with me as its guide.

As many people shifted from Clubhouse to other platforms over time, there were moments when it was difficult to find guests, and times when changes to the app and the algorithms made it harder for listeners to find us.

What supported me most during those times were my fellow moderators Shiho, Nacky, Carolyn, and of course the wonderful Toshitaka Mochizuki and Ken Honda who are so famous in Japan but still came by often to support us despite their busy schedules.

Through all those phases and all the ups and downs, we kept going.

The 549th session since the relaunch aired on December 30, 2024. In other words, I have personally interviewed over 549 guests as the host.

Now, Morning Manifestation has grown into a program so successful that people regularly reach out to me saying they’d love to be invited as a guest. Now there’s a month-long waiting list for guests who have already been scheduled.

Although I haven’t come full circle yet, this is clearly evidence that the vision I first saw in 2017 was coming true.

I’ve been studying and practicing the Law of Attraction for years now, and I can say with confidence that the future you envision for yourself will absolutely come. My personal manifestation story is the proof. I was able to be the interview host of Morning Manifestation, along with the support of my fellow moderators, wonderful guests, and all the listeners who believed in us.

And that journey is still ongoing. In 2026, I will continue taking action to manifest new opportunities and developments.

At the end of each episode, we always ask the guest, “What would you like to manifest within the next 72 hours?” Then, after the guest shares their answer, Shiho invites everyone to join in on a pre-celebration of their success, as a blessing and confirmation that they can definitely achieve their dreams.

So far, I have asked over 550 people this question. Many of my guests were able to manifest their dreams and desires almost instantly. Other have set bigger goals and came back to me much later to report, “You’ll never believe it, but a miracle happened to me today!”

Talking to so many people in this format has helped me realize one thing very clearly. Anyone who manifests very quickly has one thing in common: their energy is extremely high.

I’m not talking about the kind of energy that’s just loud like someone yelling on a megaphone, or bouncing around like they’re overly caffeinated. Even a quiet voice can carry a deep intention with a powerful frequency that resonates everywhere it reaches. The energy these people share in common is one that is clear and transparent, without any fuzzy cloudiness of uncertainty. They know exactly what they are here to manifest.

My journey continues onward toward the final vision

In this story about my greatest manifestation, so far, I’ve shared how I began hosting the Morning Manifestation program. But as you’ve probably guessed, my true goal is still the vision I first saw back in 2017, and it’s the goal that has never left my mind.

What I’ve created so far is just one form of that vision. Moving forward, I will continue evolving that manifestation into something that I know can reach an even wider audience.

The final form may not be called “Morning Manifestation” at all. But this is the place where it all began. That much is undeniable.

I believe I can sum up my ikigai and my motivation for continuing this work in one word: Light.

There are so many people doing wonderful projects and activities all around the world. My dream is to shine a light on them and help them to reach more people.

At the same time, through shining my own light I hope to create a safe and secure space where both guests and listeners can open their hearts to connect with their most authentic selves.

What this final form of my vision will ultimately take, even I cannot yet imagine. But if you were to ask me again if there were no limitations in place to stop me and anything was possible, what would I really want to do, I would proudly say, “I want to have my own interview show on Netflix.”

Because anything is possible, and the only way to get there is by taking action.

My journey continues and I move forward with the clear intention of increasing the number of people who walk alongside me, helping to expand the light that illuminates the world, shining on people who can make a difference and guiding people who need hope.

Our destination is a brilliantly shining, loving and peaceful world.
